IIT JEE 2010 - Important Dates

Examination Schedule

April 11th (Sunday), 2010, Paper 1 – 09.00 – 12.00 hrs, Paper 2 – 14.00 – 17.00 hrs

Paper-1 and Paper-2 will each have separate sections in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Both papers will be of objective type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.

Syllabus for this examination will be available on the website of all IITs.

The candidate will have the option of submitting the application form either on-line or off-line

Off-line application process: From Monday, November 16, 2009 to Tuesday, December 15, 2009

Last date of receipt of completed hard copy of application forms at IITs: Saturday, December 19, 2009

Choosing the right topics for maximum study is very important not only for clearing JEE but also for getting a high rank. Lots of topics in JEE syllabus require a huge lot of time, incomparable to that required by other topics. Spending too much time on these topics and ignoring other topics leads to drastic failure in rank.Lots of topics in JEE are very easy and are of NCERT level.The key to topping JEE is to maximize your scoring in these topics which boosts the rank.
